Someone stole Mick Jagger’s Maraca. And I found it.

image8What a fantastic story and great piece to be able to add to my collection thanks to a good friend who connected me with the owner.
One of Mick Jagger’s Maracas from a concert in Albany, NY April 29, 1965.

This maraca has see a lot of wear and use. The wood has weathered over the years and it has a wonderful deep warm patina to it. It is roughly 49 years old.

The maraca is in the original condition as purchased from the owner. In the photos below Mick can be seen using one that is this same exact style, with three carved flowers on it.
