You know you’ve made it to “rock icon status” when just your first name is enough.

Or Ringo, Slash, Axl, Bruce and Jim.

I’ve always been fascinated by the origins and beginnings of rock stars and collecting the related memorabilia to their early bands and careers.

Photos, set lists, business cards or even high school yearbooks, helps me understand and appreciate how they became who they are.

In this post I’ll share some of what I’ve been able to track down and find.

Ringo Starr.

Ringo Rory Storm items are surprisingly still out there. While scoffed up by Ringo fanatics, handbills, photos and even posters of Ringo Pre “Fab Four” are still in existence.
